South African Netflix: why is every new series just Joberg apartments and betrayal?

I want one show where someone makes a bad decision, fixes it with a phone call, and eats slap chips on the couch. No pool party. No whispering in Umhlanga corridors. Still watched three episodes last night. Hate that I care about the sister-in-law now. What's a local film or series that actually felt like your city — not a tourism advert?
